About Me

Gabriel started his music journey at the age of 8 when he began to learn guitar. By the time he was 10, he switched his primary instrument to electric bass alongside the upright bass. He made first chair positions in every all district event he auditioned for and by the age of 12, was chosen as the only bass player to play in the all-state Florida jazz band. He began playing and gigging with professional jazz big bands at 11 years old. He continued playing bass as the first chair bassist at East Ridge High School while continuing to entertain local crowds around the clermont area. He has currently been studying music therapy at Florida Gulf Coast University. During this time he has been gigging every single week as a professional musician around the fort myers, estero, naples, and cape coral areas. He is going into his senior year to graduate with a music degree. He has much experience working with and teaching ages 3-17 through his internships in music therapy throughout his education. Gabriel has played bass with many grammy nominated/awarded musicians including Brandon Robertson, Zach Bartholomew, Michael D’Amore, Benny Benack III, Etienne Charles, Barbara King, Jose Valentino, and Kate Kortum. He is eager and excited to work with anybody who shares his passion and love for the bass.
