Dwanney has always loved music from an early age. He began playing Drums at the age of 1 and continued his education by going to college for 4 years studying Music Education. His musical influences include Miles Davis, Alton Hollis and John Coltrain. Dwanney's favorite thing about music is Gospel, Jazz and R&B and his favorite thing about teaching music is growth, improvement and passed-down knowledge. One of his favorite teaching experiences was teaching a song that took 15 minutes to do. The smile his student had on his face brought joy to Dwanney's heart.
