Hello, my name is Ty. I'm a graduate of the Music Production and Business program with a concentration in drumming at Millersville University. I've been playing drums since the age of 8 and explored various genres such as fusion, rock, jazz, metal, samba, and more. With time and effort as well as great mentors, I developed my own systems and exercises I use to both improve my playing and expand how I think about the instrument. I interned at Music For Everyone in Lancaster where I worked with kids attending educational events centered around music and community. I've played in many bands over the years but currently only play for the metal band IARA. With IARA I have opened national tour dates and our agency is preparing us for a national tour of our own. I would be more than happy to share my love for drumming and industry expertise with my students.
