Sarah has always loved music from an early age. She began singing at the age of 2 and started playing the piano at the age of 8 and continued her education by studying voice, piano, and flute, as well as choral composition in both North Dakota and Minnesota. Her musical influences include everything from jazz and indie folk to opera and Classical piano. Sarah's favorite thing about music is that it's a universal language and her favorite thing about teaching music is the ah-ha moments-when a student really understands a new concept. One of her favorite teaching experiences was holding her first piano and vocal recital. When taking lessons with Sarah you can expect to learn at your own pace in lessons that are both fun and challenging.
