Hello, my name is Ismael, I am an advanced guitarist with intermediate-advanced knowledge of piano, drums, and bass. I have been in love with playing instruments, since I was 7 years old drumming in the new house we were building at the time. As a curious and persistent man, I continue to learn and listen for new and evolving music that pertains to today and begin to dissect and discover ways I can make it my own. I am excited to have this opportunity to share my knowledge to you in a more hands on learning capability and be able to see the growth you can achieve!

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students should expect to learn guitar and other instruments through music theory and music that we know in love, dissecting these songs to achieve a similar feel to it. From reading sheet music and chord charts, students can understand how music is composed and should understand the foundation of how a musical arrangement is composed.
Formal Education:
I have been playing guitar since I was 12 Years old in middle school. What would be my middle school years I would enter in honors guitar and continue on to explore more in high school and post-high school. Then, I proceeded to pursue a AAS of guitar performance, which I transferred to get my BFA in music production.
Private Education:
I spent 3 years in private education. Two while getting my guitar performance degree, and one while getting my recording certification.
Performing Experience:
I have been serving at my church playing electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and piano for 6 years. During middle and high school, I would perform in various school functions such as pep rallies, school parades, elementary schools, concerts, and UIL competitions. Post-high school, I played in a norteño band at a few dance clubs.
Experience Teaching:
I have 3 years teaching my church peers with the instruments I have listed.
