About Me

CLASSICAL PERCUSSION | 2 I began learning classical percussion instruments and reading classical music in middle school. I also learned fundamentals in rudiments and keyboard techniques. In high school, I marched snare and played vibraphone with Fulshear High, going to the UIL Texas state marching contest in 2022. I also have chamber and percussion ensemble experience, taking our pieces to UIL solo and ensemble. I also completed 2 semesters of piano at TCC South. JAZZ/GOSPEL DRUM SET | 2008-PRESENT At the age of 3, my father taught me how to play his trap kit at home. At 4 I was playing with local churches and worship teams. In my teenage years, I played for a church in Houston for around 3 years. In high school, I played in both of our jazz bands, one as the main kit player and the other as the aux percussion. In 2023 I played for the UIL region jazz band's first chair. I have also played for the TCC South Jazz Band on kit and aux percussion for a semester.
