About Me

Hi, my name is Andesa and I am a mother and a lover of music and singing from Georgia. I have been a student of music for 21 years. My musical influences include singing and I also enjoy musical covers and cappella. My teaching style can best be described as musicianship and acting-based. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe that singing is a universal human capability, not an exclusive talent. My philosophy is rooted in the conviction that with the right technical guidance, encouragement, and a supportive environment, anyone can discover and develop their unique voice. In my lessons, you can expect to learn vocal techniques and mechanics. I like to tell my students just be yourself we can work to adjust to you what you are and what you’re most comfortable with. My favorite thing about teaching is watching those blossom and realize they are capable of more than they know. My favorite performance was back in high school I was in Bella Voci an acapella group and we sung the theme song from Frozen, singing with my fellow teammates and working together to create just the perfect harmonies and how we really struck the audience with our ambience, it was truly inspiring. My students love that I help you adjust to your own natural capabilities. I primarily teach genre fluid teaching, but I can also teach musicals. My approach as a teacher is adaptive, encouraging, and holistically focused on the individual singer. Because I believe anyone can sing, I meet my students exactly where they are—tailoring exercises and repertoire to their unique goals and musical interests, no matter the genre. I combine healthy, science-backed vocal mechanics with physical body awareness to eliminate strain and unlock a free, natural tone. Most importantly, I foster a supportive, joyful environment where making mistakes is a celebrated part of the learning process, empowering students to build lasting performance confidence.
