I began playing guitar at the age of 10. Over the years, I developed my skills further by focused self taught studies and through individual work with teachers/fellow musicians.. I have gained performance experience in the Wilmington area by playing at such venues as Hi Wire, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, and several more as a solo performer, as a duo, and with full bands. Though I can teach many different genres of music, my musical personal favorites are blues, rock, folk, and jazz which had great influence on my style of playing and my improvisational approach. I love music and love teaching and watching my students grow. Whether you are a total beginner or a more experienced musician, I can help you expand and enhance your playing.
