About Me

I have been playing piano since I was 6 years old, and music has been a lifelong passion ever since. I began band at age 10 as a flute player before expanding into percussion and drums, eventually serving as Drum Captain in marching band. Since I was 16, I have consistently played piano for churches and continue to perform for local events and clubs as well. As a teacher during the school year, I am comfortable working with students of all ages and learning styles. I believe anyone can learn music with the right encouragement, patience, and guidance. My goal as an instructor is to help students build confidence, creativity, and a genuine love for music. To me, music is more than just a skill — it is freedom, creativity, and therapy. Learning and mastering an instrument is something that stays with you forever, and I love helping others discover that same joy and fulfillment through piano.

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Students can expect a supportive, encouraging, and personalized learning environment where lessons are tailored to their individual goals, skill level, and learning style. Whether a student is brand new to piano or looking to strengthen existing skills, I focus on building confidence while making lessons enjoyable and engaging. Lessons include piano technique, music reading, rhythm, ear training, musical expression, and overall musicianship. I also encourage creativity and help students develop a genuine connection to music, not just memorization. My goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace while still being challenged to grow. Most importantly, students can expect patience, positivity, and a teacher who truly loves helping others discover the joy and lifelong value of music.
