About Me

With over 20 years of experience playing guitar and bass, I’m passionate about helping students of all ages build confidence, creativity, and a genuine love for music. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time, looking to improve your technique, write songs, or learn recording and production, my goal is to make lessons fun, approachable, and tailored to your individual goals. I have over 10 years of experience working in Pro Tools and studied recording arts at Daytona State College. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside respected producers including Marc McClusky (Weezer, Everclear, Bad Religion, Motion City Soundtrack), Jim Wirt (Fiona Apple, Incubus, Hoobastank), and Brett Romnes (Hot Mulligan, Free Throw, Brand New). As a touring musician, I’ve spent years performing across the East Coast and Midwest, playing festivals and sharing bills with artists such as The Story So Far, Modern Baseball, Joyce Manor, The Menzingers, Cartel, and Bad Luck. In my former band, I was actively involved in the songwriting and recording process for music that has since surpassed one million streams on Spotify—experience that continues to shape the way I approach writing, performing, and teaching music today. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy. I’ve helped several young players—including my own nieces—learn guitar, play songs they love, and even begin writing music of their own. I believe learning music should feel exciting, encouraging, and creative, while still building strong fundamentals and real skills. Whether your interest is guitar, bass, songwriting, or recording/engineering, I’d love to help you grow as a musician and have fun doing it.
