About Me

Hi, my name is Giovanna, and I am a vocal instructor from Aberdeen, Maryland. I have been studying music for 3 years, with a focus on vocal performance, music theory, and contemporary music. My musical influences are rooted in jazz and pop, and I enjoy helping students find their own unique sound. My teaching style is positive, supportive, and easy to understand. I create a safe environment where mistakes are part of the learning process, and I use simple explanations to help students understand how their voice works. My teaching philosophy is that every voice can grow with confidence, practice, and the right guidance. In my lessons, you can expect to build confidence, vocal control, healthy technique, and stronger performance skills. I like to tell my students, "Your voice comes from your soul." My favorite thing about teaching is helping students discover what their voices are capable of. I primarily teach commercial voice, including pop and contemporary styles, but I can also teach basic music theory and vocal fundamentals.
