Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Alice, and I am a classically trained pianist with over 15 years of experience in piano performance and music education. I have a strong background in arts-based learning, having studied locally at Bak Middle School of the Arts and Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, where I developed both my technical skills and passion for music. Recently, I graduated from Wake Forest University with a minor in Music and experience teaching children beginner piano skills. My teaching approach emphasizes patience, encouragement, and building confidence while creating a strong musical foundation. I primarily use Alfred’s Basic Piano Library to help beginners develop essential techniques, music-reading abilities, and healthy practice habits. A typical lesson includes review, introducing new concepts, and setting personalized goals for growth. My goal is to help students develop lasting skills, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music. I hope to have the wonderful opportunity to meet you soon!
