About Me

I have played both acoustic and electric guitar since age 12. I love playing classic and modern rock, alternative, worship music, classic metal, and blues. I can read music and tab, and can work with students from a lesson plan that teaches them proper technique for chords and lead parts on acoustic and electric guitar. I have not taught any students guitar specific music lessons, but I have substitute taught music classes at school that involve music history. I look forward to seeing students and helping them learn both acoustic and electric guitar depending upon their preferences.

What to expect in my

Beginner -

To experience learning the skills required to reach the skill level they desire to play at. I will teach proper chording technique, lead guitar technique, and emphasize timing and practice. All this is for the students gain in attaining their guitar goals.

Formal Education:

Roane State Community College-Mechatronics.

Performing Experience:

I have performed in church bands since age 15 playing electric lead guitar and acoustic rhythm. I have also regularly played in quite a few rock and blues jams at local Knoxville area clubs.

Experience Teaching:

Just showing a few things to family members to assist their musical journey. I will create a custom curiculum for each student after an introductory lesson to suit their specific needs.
