He has passion for learning and performing music of all types and for teaching in a supportive, encouraging way. He strives to meet each student where they're at and help them put one foot in front of the other, walking steadily toward their goals in a way that has them learning every step thoroughly, no matter where they began. His mastery of his craft is thorough because his learning approach was thoughtful and rigorous, but he approaches teaching with the knowledge that some students may need support and motivation to help them along.
