Rhys has always loved music from an early age. He began playing Guitar at the age of 13 and continued his education by playing through high school and college. His musical influences include jazz guitar, indie guitar, and especially classic rock playing such as Jeff Buckley and Johnny Marr. Rhys's favorite thing about music is the feel and and joy of improvisation and his favorite thing about teaching music is showing how one can break the rules of music and music theory to creatively find their voice.
