Michael has always loved music from an early age. He began singing at the age of 11 and continued his education by the age of 24. His musical influences include his instructor’s that have taught him everything he knows today.Michael's favorite thing about music is getting to create perform with others and his favorite thing about teaching music is getting educate students based on what he has learned as a musician. One of his favorite teaching experiences was when he student taught because he got to help educate young minds. Formal Education:

Michael went to Texas Lutheran University where he studied Music Education. His studies help him to learn how to teach students the fundamentals of vocal technique and performance.

Private Education:

Michael has taken lessons from multiple teachers for the past several years. He has learned how to perform on stage and how to sing with proper vocal technique. This has given him multiple perspectives on how to teach his students.

Performing Experience:

Michael has been performing with various ensembles for many years. He has sung at Carnegie Hall and the Tobin Center among multiple other venues. Michael has sung both in a choir and an operatic setting.

Experience Teaching:

Michael has worked with students of various ages and student taught at Voss Farms Elementary. He has also helped to tutor students at his college when he was in his undergraduate studies.
