My name is Nico. I am a third year at Kennesaw State University majoring in Music Composition. I have been playing saxophone for eight years. In recent years, I was the first recipient at my high school band program of the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award. In my tenure there, I was section leader for two years, the record setter for highest audition scores, and created and led our school’s saxophone quartet to perform at GMEA. All of this was accomplished while publishing three books and receiving academic letters for four years consecutively. I recently served as one of the Alto Saxophone section leaders in the KSU Marching Owls for two years.
