Hello, I’m Tommy, and I am a guitar teacher and musician from Phoenix, Az. Growing up, I attended School of Rock for 10 years as a student. I have a lot of musical inspirations, mainly being anything from math rock, alternative grunge, to jazz. I really like to emphasize feelings and mind when playing music or teaching guitar. Trying to get a concept down, then immediately applying it in a musically creative way is important. Teaching songs for performance and improvisation practice is my passion. My favorite thing about teaching is all the different personalities I hear through instruments, as well as how much I learn myself, too.
