About Me

Hi, I'm Caleb! I'm a 22 year old bass-baritone from Little Rock. My vocal expertise was established under the mentorship of Dr. Jeduthun Kim, a distinguished Korean-American professional opera singer and vocal pedagogist. I have a wide music taste and have performed various music genres many different places. I specialize in contemporary styles like pop, worship, or soul, but I'm also quite familiar with classical techniques. I first got into music when I was 16 as a music producer. Since then, I've become a compotent recording engineer who can professionally mix music. Learning the sound design skillset alongside vocals for the past 5 years helped me teach and critique better because I know how certain voice mechanics will sound through different mic systems! Actually, half of my teaching experience comes from being a vocal coach/producer for people singing into a mic. Your personal goals as a musician are also my goals for our lesson time. I can provide personalized, effective instruction to meet your desired goal. Regardless of what you wish to achieve, we'll most likely be working on proper breathing techniques and how to effectively support your desired sound. We'll also likely be doing vocal exercises that train proper vocal chord closure, alleviating tension on your larynx. It'd be my pleasure to work with you, let's learn together!
