About Me

Hi, my name is Caden and I am a multi-instrumentalist from Tiffin, Ohio. I have been a student of music for 6 years. My musical influences include Blink-182, Nirvana, and Masayoshi Takanaka and I also enjoy Country, Emo, and Jazz. My teaching style can best be described as a set of training wheels meant to help the student get comfortable riding the musical bike. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I find the thing my student is the most passionate about and do everything within my power to help them realize that passion. In my lessons, you can expect to learn healthy playing techniques, fundamentals, and music theory that can be used to jumpstart a career in music. I like to tell my students to take their time and avoid bashing their head against the proverbial wall, Rome wasn’t built in a day. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the “Ah-Ha” moment when a student finally overcomes a difficult challenge. My students love that I do everything I can to help them achieve their goals.
