About Me

Jinhong is a DMA student in Piano Performance at the University of Georgia and an award-winning pianist from South Korea. He won First Prize at an international piano competition in Italy and performed as a soloist with orchestra. He has also performed at the IBK Chamber Hall of the Seoul Arts Center, one of Korea’s premier concert venues. In addition to performing, Jinhong is passionate about teaching. He has worked with numerous students of different ages and skill levels and has helped students achieve success in competitions, including prize-winning performances at the Steinway Amateur Piano Competition. His teaching focuses on developing strong technique, musical expression, confidence, and a lifelong love of music. Whether you are a beginner, an advanced student, or an adult returning to the piano, Jinhong is dedicated to helping each student reach their full musical potential through personalized and engaging instruction.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Piano lessons should be both enjoyable and rewarding. My goal is to help students build a strong musical foundation while developing confidence and a genuine love for music. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and may include technique, repertoire, sight-reading, music theory, ear training, and performance preparation. Whether you are a beginner taking your first lesson, a student preparing for competitions, or an adult returning to the piano, I will work with you to create a learning plan that helps you reach your musical goals.
