About Me

I’m a classically trained pianist and multi-instrumentalist with over a decade of experience across piano, guitar, drums, and songwriting. I’ve passed ABRSM Grade 8 with distinction, and I’m currently studying music pedagogy at university, which means I’m not just performing—I’m actively learning how to teach music in a way that actually works for different types of students. As an instructor, I focus on building real musical independence: reading notation confidently, developing solid technique, and understanding what you’re actually playing instead of just memorizing shapes on the keyboard. I’ve worked with beginners who’ve never read music before, as well as more advanced students preparing pieces for performances and exams, so I’m used to adapting fast depending on the student’s level and goals. What I’m especially known for is making complex things feel simple and practical. I don’t overload students with theory for the sake of it—I connect it directly to the music they’re playing so it sticks. I also pay a lot of attention to posture, hand technique, and efficiency, because bad habits are much harder to fix later than to prevent early. Outside of teaching, I’m also active as a performer and songwriter, so I bring a more real-world musical perspective into lessons—not just exam preparation, but how music actually lives outside the classroom.
