Hi, my name is Eris and I am a senior from Parkwood HS. I have been a student of music for 6 years. I have been influenced by music almost all my life and I also enjoy letting people feed into their passions. My teaching style can best be described as gentle, understanding and thorough. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I think a person should pushed into new regions but never be force beyond what they maybe comfortable doing. I like to help my students by letting them lead into what type of music they want to play instead of keeping them on one strick path. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the person bloom into what they love and helping them grow. My favorite performance was at Canon Music Camp where I performed Fading into Twilight for the talent show. I primarily teach piano and French horn, but I can also teach mellophone, trumpet, and baritone but I do now currently have a baritone or trumpet in my possession. My approach as a teacher is to learn along with the student to understand their needed learning style to help them excel further. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
