My name is Darre’on, and I am a dedicated drum instructor with a passion for helping students develop confidence, discipline, and strong musicianship through percussion. I have been playing the drum set since childhood, and my love for music has grown into years of performance and leadership experience. Throughout my musical journey, I performed with the Atlanta Drum Academy, where I strengthened my technical skills and performance abilities. I also played for the Jonesboro High School band program, further developing my experience in both ensemble performance and percussion. I currently march with the South Carolina State University Marching 101 Band, where I continue to refine my musicianship while performing at the collegiate level. As an instructor, I teach both drum set and snare drum, focusing on proper technique, stick control, timing, coordination, reading music, rudiments, groove development, and overall performance. My goal is to provide a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment where students of all ages and skill levels can grow at their own pace while building a lifelong appreciation for music. Whether you’re just beginning your drumming journey or looking to improve your skills, I am committed to helping you reach your musical goals through personalized instruction and encouragement. I look forward to working with you and helping you become a confident, well-rounded drummer.
