About Me

Hi, my name is Alejandro and I am a bassplayer and tourmusician from Ecuador. I have been a student of music for almost 20 years. My musical influences include Flea, Pino Palladino, Miki Santamaria, Louis Johnson and many more, and I also enjoy Folklore and Latin Music as Funk and Rock and Pop Music to play. My teaching style can best be described as simple, rythmic and versatile. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I play with the lessons to make it best. In my lessons, you can expect to learn digitation, precision, rythm and songs analysis. I like to tell my students that nothing is impossible, the song that you love you can play, just believe in yourself. My favorite thing about teaching is to learn new music from my students and take it as a new challenge to teach and play. My favorite performance was in El Salvador with Marco Cherrez artist, and Honduras as part of a Jazz Class to the Supremos Poderes' Band.
