Marcus began playing trumpet at the age of 10. Over the years, he developed his skills further with teachers such as David Krauss and Ethan Bensdorf from the MET Opera and New York Philharmonic. He gained performance experience in the northeast by playing at such venues as the Barre Opera House and with orchestras such as the Vermont Symphony. Though Marcus can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are classical and jazz which had great influence on his style of playing. Marcus loves music because improving at his instrument is fun and loves teaching music because seeing students improve daily is very fulfilling. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, Marcus can help you expand and enhance your playing. Marcus is excited to learn how he can help you reach your musical goals.
