I have been playing drums for most of my life. My father introduced me to drumming and basic music theory at a very young age, laying the foundation for my musical journey. As I grew older, I pursued music beyond my father’s teachings by taking lessons through local programs such as School of Rock. Once I joined percussion in middle school, my musical abilities improved dramatically. In high school, I performed in the drumline, playing both bass drum and snare. During this time, I was selected as an All-Region jazz drummer and also performed in my high school’s musical productions. After high school, I attended recording engineering school, where I earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Live Sound and Recording Engineering. Today, I perform in two bands that tour nationally across North America while also recording and producing local bands and artists in my community.
