About Me

Hi, my name is Brandon and I am a Guitarist from Miami, Florida. I have been a student of music for 13 years. My musical influences include Jimmy Page, Bob Dylan, and Oasis and I also enjoy The Band. My teaching style can best be described as student-centered and creatively driven. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe technique and creativity should grow together. A balance between fundamentals and ear training. In my lessons, you can expect to learn not just how to play songs but how the guitar works, so eventually you can create your own music. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing growth in students and the excitement that comes with it. My favorite performance is Eric Johnson at Austin City Limits in 1988. My students love that I am friendly, young, and personable. I primarily teach electric guitar and rock music, but I can also teach acoustic and fingerstyle. My approach as a teacher is for new students to immediately grow their confidence and believe in themselves.
