I'm Jarus, and I've been playing piano since I was 8 years old! I've lived all sorts of places in my life, so I've had lots and lots of different teachers. What I've learned from all those different perspectives is that a student will always gravitate towards the things that really engage them, for me it was video game music, but it's different for everybody! By teaching to those interests, I want to really find what really makes you excited to play music. Is it learning your favorite songs on the piano? Composing your own original music? Being challenged with new songs to learn? I can teach all of that, and more. I have been teaching music for 2 years now, and my favorite thing about teaching is helping my students find their passion for music. It takes good communication and trust between teacher and student, which I always do my best to build! I like to be a fun teacher, to make the learning process more than just repetitive drills and homework assignments. Book a lesson and find what makes you excited about learning piano!
