About Me

Greetings! My name is Daniella and I am a multi-instrumentalist and music composer from Broward County, FL. I've played instruments for 15 years, and I've studied music for 6. I am currently enrolled in Indian River State College as a Music Composition major Music Education minor, and I plan to continue my studies at the University of Central Florida. My teaching style prioritizes problem-solving and critical thinking, and encourages students to be comfortably independent during their practice times. In my lessons, you can expect to learn level-appropriate Music Theory, proper instrument techniques, and music reading including sight reading. My favorite part of teaching is being able to look back on a student's progress and show them how far they've come as a musician. My students love that I tailor my lesson plans specifically to them, instead of just generally to their level. I primarily teach piano, but I can also teach clarinet, bass clarinet, bass, ukulele, mallet instruments, drums, organ, and celeste. At the end of the day, I won't just teach you how to play an instrument, I will teach you how to be a musician. Thank you for reading, hope to meet you soon!
