My name is Joey and I am currently a music student seeking a bachelor's degree in music composition and instrumental performance, studying at Pacific Lutheran University. My main instrument is classical guitar but I also play electric as well. I grew up playing percussion most of my life throughout school and then picked up guitar later on. My main influences are rock and hair metal as well as classical music. I have begun taking composition lessons recently in school and have created some of my own original classical style music. I am really into baroque/romantic classical music on guitar and believe it creates a superb foundation to transfer into other areas on the guitar. I would love to be able to share my passion and experience for music with others and help music grow as well as keep it alive for the younger generations.
