I am a self-taught guitarist with 15 years of playing experience. I play electric, acoustic, classical, and steel guitar, and my influences include Roy Clark, Chet Atkins, and Jerry Reed. I have already taught four students how to play guitar, working with each of them at their own pace and helping them build confidence, technique, and a genuine enjoyment of the instrument. My most advanced student has even gone on to become a better player than me, which I consider one of my proudest achievements as a teacher. Because I taught myself, I understand how frustrating learning guitar can sometimes be. I focus on explaining things clearly, keeping lessons practical, and helping students play music they are genuinely interested in.
