I started playing the viola in 5th grade, but got bored and taught myself the cello going into high school. Ever since, I have yet to put the instrument down. I have played in 4 separate symphony orchestras as principal/co-principal desk of the cello section, I have gone to nursing homes + juvenile detention + animal shelters to play for residents, and I have familiarized myself with a large assortment of professional classical repertoire. With that said, I feel most comfortable teaching violas and cellos; but I am also comfortable teaching violin.
