About Me

I'm a classically trained cellist and pianist with over a decade of conservatory education at the National School of the Arts in Havana, Cuba, one of the most prestigious artistic institutions in the country. I've performed alongside some of Cuba's most distinguished musicians and have taught cello, piano, and music theory to students ranging from young beginners to conservatory level. I play guitar and electric bass as well, and have deep training in harmony, solfège, counterpoint, and composition. I teach in both English and Spanish, and I bring to every lesson the discipline of my formal training and a genuine passion for helping students fall in love with music. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your playing to the next level, I'd love to work with you!

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Students can expect a well-rounded guitar education grounded in solid music theory, technique, and ear training. Drawing from my conservatory background, I tailor each lesson to the student's goals and level, whether that means learning chords and strumming patterns, developing fingerpicking technique, reading music, or exploring different genres. I make sure every student understands not just how to play, but why music works the way it does, which makes them better musicians across the board.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

The piano is where I believe every musician's journey gets deeper. With a foundation rooted in classical conservatory training, I teach piano and keyboard in a way that goes beyond just playing the notes — we work on touch, expression, theory, and the kind of musical understanding that makes everything else click. From your very first scale to Chopin, from chord progressions to improvisation, lessons are shaped around what you want to achieve and what excites you about music. The piano has a way of opening up the whole musical universe, and I genuinely love being part of that moment when a student realizes just how far they can go.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Songwriting is where everything comes together — melody, harmony, rhythm, and storytelling all in one place. In these lessons we'll work on turning your ideas into actual songs, whether you have a full concept in your head or just a feeling you don't know how to express yet. Drawing from my background in composition, harmony, and counterpoint, I'll help you understand the craft behind great songwriting while keeping your voice and style at the center of it. No two songs sound alike, and no two lessons will either. If you've ever had a melody stuck in your head that you wish you could turn into something real, this is where we start.
