About Me

Sariya has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar and bass at the ages of 6 and 10, and has continued his education by writing and recording original albums, doing session work for bands and high profile concert events, and composing original music for multimedia projects. His musical influences include Slash, Mark Holcomb, Hans Zimmer, Nita Strauss, Steve Vai, Orianthi, and Eric Clapton. Sariya's favorite thing about music is how it is a universal language, and his favorite thing about teaching music is building bridges with new people and seeing them develop a sense of pride in their new skill. One of his favorite teaching experiences was seeing a band of his students put on a concert to a packed crowd, all playing songs that he taught them.
