Patrick has been a cellist for over ten years, having started back in third grade, but believes he only came into himself as a musician once he reached high school and began exploring. After years of classical training, he started incorporating rock, pop, jazz, and ambient genres of music into his training, even finding at times that he preferred to play certain genres on other instruments. This led him towards learning to play the alto saxophone, guitar, bass, piano, and drums to a degree. Getting to mix different genres and their norms made the whole performance process come more naturally to him, and as a result he also began writing music. While it was mainly focused on indie pop, his experiences as a writer grew as those with performance did. The constant knowledge that there was much more to be learned continues to push Patrick's passion to new heights.
