About Me

Cameron is a singer, actor, director, and voice teacher from San Diego, CA. His singing career began at the age of three, when he picked up a ukelele and crudely performed Raffi songs for his family. He is a graduate of Otterbein University, where he received his BFA in Musical Theatre. Some of his professional credits as an actor include The Wizard of Oz Scarecrow, Hair Margaret Mead Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Hermey Dogman the Musical Petey, U.S. National Tour, King Leo’s New Clothes King Leo, Legoland CA Resort, and Snoopy Snoopy. He was also the runner up for Best Actor at the 2016 Jimmy Awards, where he performed on Broadway at the Minskoff Theater home of The Lion King. He is currently the lead singer of the band Mythe. As a vocal coach and theatre director, he has taught and directed for Arimaw Productions, J Company Youth Theatre, Play CV, and Stage Presence Performing Arts Studio. As a vocal coach, he specializes in musical theater as well as rock, pop, jazz and r&b. Cameron utilizes a positive and constructive work approach in getting the best sound out of his students. He loves finding and guiding a singer's most authentic sound, and doing so in a fun and supportive environment. With a lifelong passion for music and singing, he loves getting to share that passion with his students as well as instilling self confidence in their vocal abilities. What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Students can expect a fun and relaxed environment where self confidence and positive feedback are just as important as hard work. In lessons, students will learn the foundations of vocal technique and healthy singing. They will also learn fundamental tips and tricks to keep the voice healthy over time, and ways to work around sickness/hoarse voice, etc. with reliance on great vocal technique. I also like to focus on the importance of "book building", where they will learn a repertoire of songs that they love to sing, that they want to sing, and that they feel confident singing. My core focus as a teacher is helping each student find their genuine, authentic sound as a singer!
