About Me

Hi, my name is Jacob and I am from Peabody, MA. I have been a student of music for nearly 20 years starting from when I got my first guitar and my earliest days of being a part of my school's chorus. I furthered my music education studying at UMass Lowell, taking voice lessons throughout and majoring in Sound Recording Technology. My musical influences range from Pop to Rock to Rap to Indie and everything in between! My teaching style can best be described as compassionate and collaborative. In my lessons, you can expect to learn some of the core fundamentals, good warm ups and how to maximize your skills and sound for any song you want to learn and rehearse! I like to tell my students that any one can sing, but singing well takes practice like anything else. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing and hearing the progress someone can make and the joy a student has after a successful lesson. My students love that I have an eclectic music taste and an easy going attitude. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach guitar and recording skills.
