About Me

Hello! My name is Jack and I am a trumpet player from north Georgia residing in the Jacksonville area. I have been playing the trumpet for ten years, and I recently graduated from Juilliard with my bachelors in trumpet performance. I am comfortable teaching students of all ages, and I find that I learn as much from my students as they learn from me! In our lessons, we can work on the fundamentals of playing the trumpet, music theory and ear training, and increasing your repertoire library, all at your pace. To me, it’s most important that playing music always remains fun and rewarding-it’s a skill that lasts a lifetime, and I want to ensure that you have a good starting point. What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Students should except lessons that teach them how to practice. Long term success in music means learning how to be resourceful, problem solve, and above all, find enjoyment in everything you play. We can work on fundamentals of the trumpet, music theory and ear training, and solo/ensemble repertoire. I can provide weekly lesson assignments, or students can bring in whatever they are interested in working on-it’s up to you!
