Hi, my name is Hannah and I am a performer from North Carolina. I have been a student of music since falling in love with singing in my middle school choir class. My musical influences include Broadway shows and I also enjoy Disney music. My teaching style can best be described as encouraging and positive. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I want to help my students find their true voice. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to use your body to create healthy sounds, make stylistic choices, and gain confidence. I like to tell my students that they should feel empowered to share their voice. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the moment when they master a technique they have been working on. My favorite performance was singing backup for The Rolling Stones. My students love that I provide practice materials in a timely manner. I primarily teach musical theater, but I can also teach classical and pop. My approach as a teacher is to understand the specific goals of each student and update my approach to match their goals.
