About Me

My name is Kyle. I am an audio engineer, mixer, and music producer based in Romeoville Illinois. My musical journey started at a young age and has spanned from playing clarinet and trumpet, to studying piano, to finally playing guitar and writing music for a variety of rock bands in the Chicagoland area before eventually becoming a producer and audio engineer. I attended a Grammy winning high school Neuqua Valley where I studied music theory and was first introduced to music production technology. After playing guitar, writing music, and recording for many years, I moved to Nashville to attend Middle Tennessee State University to obtain a Bachelors and Masters degree in Recording Arts and Technologies. While attending MTSU, I received many honors for my engineering and production work. I was a member of MTSU's 2015 Mix team, served as president for the MTSU Audio Engineering Society chapter, I was the VP of audio production for the Omega Delta Psi recording industry fraternity, and I am a two time medalist Gold & Bronze of the AES international student recording competition. After earning my degree, I taught college courses on digital audio technology, assisted Grammy winning artists and producers on a variety of projects, and worked for the largest live AV company in the world for 5yrs installing audio systems for various venues, business, and independent clients. Currently, I produce, mix, master and engineer thousands of songs for artists both locally and from over 85 countries around the world and counting as well and provide consulting and video lessons regarding music production and mixing. Overall my strength as a teacher is being able to break down complicated technical concepts so that they are easy to understand.
