Jaya is a Music Educator from Connecticut, who absolutely loves connecting with people through the universal language of music. While at Ithaca College, for her B.M. in Music Education & Performance, Jaya explored every aspect of music she could while learning how to be a multi-skilled musician and teacher. Jaya went on to be in several theatre productions with Twisted Minds Theatre and originating roles in their creative musicals as well as recording a few albums for those shows. While she was trained classically in Opera, she enjoys singing and playing many genres of music. She is currently an Elementary music educator where she teaches the value of works in progress and making learning fun! She has lots of experience building confidence in her students and helping them learn about themselves as people and musicians.
