Hey there! My name is Sydney, and I am a recent graduate of Hamline University with a major in music and a minor in Education. I have two years of experience being a leader and mentor in choral groups, and this is my first year teaching with Taylor Robinson. My teaching philosophy as your voice teacher is that anyone can sing. Everyone will have different goals, and are on different journeys, but I am here to help you pursue your passion, no matter what genre or niche, and build healthy singing habits while we are at it! For the past nine years, I have studied vocal technique in my own vocal lessons spanning genres of classical aria, musical theater, jazz, and contemporary pop/folk/indie/rock. I would be happy to push you out of your comfort zone and learn new skills, or curate the sound you have already found and love. I can teach as young as 8 years old, and would be happy to take in adult students looking to start their singing journey as well. Please reach out for any questions you have for me!
