About Me

Dubal has loved music from an early age. He began playing the Viola at the age of 14. He continued his musical education through Venezuela's renowned "El Sistema" program and later earned a Master's degree in Viola Performance from Oklahoma City University. His musical influences include the rich orchestral tradition of El Sistema, as well as composers such as Bach, Brahms, and Shostakovich. Dubal's favorite thing about music is its ability to connect people and communicate emotions beyond words, and his favorite thing about teaching music is helping students discover their own musical voice while building confidence and strong technical skills. One of his favorite teaching experiences was watching students achieve goals they once thought were out of reach through consistent practice and encouragement.
