About Me
In my teaching experience I've realized that both the student and the teacher will learn something either about music or about themselves as a musician/person. I try to not only hammer out the fundamentals (working with a met, reading rhythms, etc), but also to enhance the student's knowledge of music by exposing them to a variety of influential and inspirational artists! My musical influences range from Bach and Debussy to Freddie Hubbard and Weather Report, from prog. rock to indie folk...I can dig it all and learn something with each listen.

What to expect in my
Beginner - Intermediate
First lessons will be a chance for us to get to know one another and where the student is at musically.

I have studied privately under Dr. Sarah Burke at Blinn College and Sebastian Whittaker
Performing Experience:
I have performed several concerts playing symphonic instruments, solo vibes, multi percussion, duet, quartet and solo marimba, and some drum set.
