About Me
Seth Wr. is a popular singer/songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and music instructor.
By day you can find Seth teaching guitar, bass, piano, drums, saxophone, violin, and ukulele at England Music in Clinton, Iowa. On any given evening and most weekends you will find Seth playing out at venues throughout the Midwest with any of his several band projects.
From 2003-2009 Seth was the lead singer and guitarist for the popular hard rock band “Drill”. He is currently in the bands “eXistent”, “Kindred Kama”, and the acoustic duo of “Seth & Jeff”, as well as rare acoustic solo performances.
Alongside business partner Andrew Nixon in their composition firm “Frame Of Mind”, Seth composed the musical score to the crime thriller film "Soft Money" for famed cult movie director, Richard Haines. Seth and Andy were then asked by Mr. Haines to score the entire soundtrack for his horror film "What Really Frightens You", which was released in October of 2010.
Seth lists some of his influences as: The Beatles, Tool, Dope, Cake, Chopin, Sponge, Queens Of The Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Richard Dawkins, Hunter S. Thompson, George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, and Bill Maher.
