My name is Marshall O’Leary. I’ve been playing music for over 20 years. My students are of all ages and multiple levels. I teach guitar, saxophone, and piano. We'll learn proper technique, good sound production, and we'll play through some great songs to get you to sound like whoever you want. We'll do some ear training as well as learn how to read music. I teach all ages. I have students that are 6 and 60 and everywhere in between.
Marshall Ole. has over 20 years of music experience in the Richmond area.
Marshall Ole. is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Keyboard and Piano Lessons, Orchestral Lessons .Formal Education:
Educated in music at VCU, I studied under Sheri Oyan, Marty Nau, and JC Kuhl for saxophone. Separately I've studied with Jacob Moore for guitar.
Performing Experience:
I currently play piano in an indie pop rock band called Glass Twin (formerly Marionette). We've played with some pretty awesome acts and opened for The National (the band) @ the National theatre to more than 800 people. I also play saxophone in a jazz duet with Jacob Moore. We've been playing around town and for private functions for around 10 years.
Experience Teaching:
I've been teaching private, one-on-one guitar, piano, and saxophone lessons for over nine years.
