I am influenced by all of the great jazz musicians. My favorites are John Coltrane, Michael Brecker, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, and Charlie Parker. I teach both classical and jazz studies lessons.

I recently graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a B.S. in Music Education, and a B.A. in Music Performance. I graduated Magna Cum Laude, and received Departmental Honors for my work in Jazz Studies.
Private Education:
I spent 7 years studying under the auspices of John Gouker (classical), and Curt Sipe (jazz), prior to attending college.
Performing Experience:
I have my own jazz quintet called "JRP" and we perform all over Central and Southern Pennsylvania. I am the co-leader, booker, and music arranger for the group. I also play in a number of different rock groups and am a guest musician for many groups.
Experience Teaching:
I recently finished my student teaching where I taught general elementary music, middle school band and lessons, and also high school band and lessons.
