About Me

I am a product of the 60's, 70's and 80's. My music is easy listening, meaning that you can play it with one guitar without back up music and sing for your own enjoyment or for groups of people at a coffee house performance. Songs from Elvis like "Maries the Name of his latest Flame" or "Treat Me Nice" or "You're So Square Baby I Don't Care" come to mind. Or Rod Stewart's "Maggie May" or "Your in my Heart." The Eagles "Desperado" or "Seven Bridges Road." Toby Keith's "As Good as I Once Was" or "Im Just Talkin About Tonight" The Beach Boys "God only Knows" or "In My Room" or "Kokomo" The Beatles "Rocky Racoon" "Norweigian Wood" and "You've got to Hide Your Love Away" Most any Ricky Nelson, John Denver or Peter, Paul and Mary. I hope this gives you an idea as to the style of music I like to play.

BA in History, Marine Corps Officer and Naval Flight Officer: flew the F-4 Phantom for 9 years.
Investment Business for 14 years. Mortgage Business for 9 years.

Performing Experience:

I have played the guitar for 40 years. I worked in college performing table to table dinner music at the local Ramada Inn in Manhattan Kansas and taught guitar lessons at a local music store while working myself through school. I have played in coffee houses and open mic when ever time was available over the years. I am self taught. Over the yearsI have taught friends to play the guitar and only recently have taken pay to do so.

Experience Teaching:

I worked in a music store while attending college teaching guitar. I have recently begun to teach guitar as a second job.
