I believe learning an instrument is about exploration more than anything else. Though I have had formal instruction, the vast majority of my knowledge has come through independent study. My teaching style is driven by the individual needs and goals of the student, however, my approach always consists of methods that simplify the instrument. My musical influences include: The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Billy Joel, John Mayer, Jamie Cullum, Joe Bonamassa, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Warren Haynes, Jimi Hendrix.
